Mitch Young, assistant coach
A retired U.S. Marine, Mitch Young came to Bethel College in 2002 with only club experience gained while playing in the Marines. Young played for the Bethel men’s soccer program with one year of eligibility and gained a wealth of knowledge from this experience. He credits his experience to his hard-working teammates and a savvy coach. Wanting to help the team after his eligibility had finished, he stayed on as an assistant coach. His responsibilities include recruiting, game day management and other duties assigned to him by the head coach. Young is currently seeking a bachelor’s degree in business administration and will go on to pursue a mechanical engineering degree at Wichita State University.
